Elton John Says Legalizing Marijuana In The U.S. & Canada Was ‘One Of the Greatest Mistakes Of All Time’
Singer Elton John is not a fan of legal weed.
The legendary performer shared his views during a recent interview with TIME magazine, saying,

John, who is now sober after a decades-long battle with substance and alcohol addiction, maintained that marijuana was an “addictive” gateway drug.
“It leads to other drugs. And when you’re stoned — and I’ve been stoned — you don’t think normally,” said John.
Cannabis use is still illegal on the federal level. However, nearly two dozen states have passed legislation permitting its sale for recreational use.
John told TIME that his addictions altered his views on weed and other mind-altering drugs. He recalled his first experience with cocaine, which led him down a road of “terrible decisions,” specifically when it came to relationships.
Is Elton speaking facts or no?
