Fort Worth Substitute Teacher Under Investigation After Calling For ICE To Remove Students Amid Trump’s New Immigration Policies
Fort Worth ISD is investigating a substitute teacher’s post calling for ICE to remove students from North Side High School.
The teacher’s X (formerly Twitter) post read,
“Y’all should come to Fort Worth, TX to Northside High School. I have many students who don’t even speak English… The @USEDGOV should totally overhaul our school system in Texas.”
The post followed President Trump’s directive allowing ICE agents to remove undocumented immigrants from sensitive locations like schools.
Fort Worth ISD responded, stating the teacher would not return to campus during the investigation. Interim Superintendent Karen Molinar affirmed support for all families despite recent immigration policies.
