D.C. Fire Chief: ‘We Don’t Believe There Are Any Survivors’ In Tragic Plane Crash + 28 Bodies Recovered
Sad update on the tragic plane crash between an American Airlines plane and an Army helicopter.
Washington D.C. Fire Chief said that authorities “don’t believe there are any survivors” in the tragedy.
“We see switching from a rescue operation to a recovery operation.”
A total of 28 people have been recovered, 27 from the AA plane and 1 from the helicopter.
The Virginia Medical Examiner and Army Medical Examiner are working to identify the bodies and inform their families.
