Gelo Ball Reveals Lil Wayne Will Appear On The Remix Of His Viral Hit ‘Tweaker’: ‘The Legend, The GOAT’
LiAngelo “Gelo” Ball has confirmed that he landed a major feature for the remix of his viral hit, “Tweaker.”
While several rap stars—such as Boosie and MoneyBagg Yo—expressed interest in hopping on the remix, the rookie rapper revealed during a recent interview with Billboard that hip-hop icon Lil Wayne ultimately joined the track. He stated:
“The legend, the GOAT… you know I had to. That’s like hooping with Jordan.”
Wayne seemingly teased the announcement in a recent video, where he also revealed that he won’t be participating in the Super Bowl this Sunday in his hometown of New Orleans—after begrudgingly losing out on the Halftime Show headliner gig to Kendrick Lamar.

In the short clip, Wayne also hinted at a special announcement coming today (Feb. 6), which now appears to be his upcoming collab with Gelo.
“Tweaker,” Gelo’s first single as a rapper, has gained major traction since its Jan. 3 release—racking up over 38 million streams on Spotify alone. The track debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is currently the best-selling hip-hop song in the U.S. in 2025.
The unexpected success of the song also landed Gelo a major deal with Def Jam/UMG worth $8 million, with potential bonuses that could reportedly push the total to $13 million.
