Eagles’ CJ Gardner-Johnson Tells Travis Kelce He ‘Should’ve Stayed’ w/ Kayla Nicole After Chiefs’ Super Bowl Loss, Taylor Swift Fans Allegedly Leave Bad Reviews For His Mother’s Restaurant
CJ Gardner-Johnson stirred the pot after the Eagles’ Super Bowl win over the Chiefs by throwing shade at Travis Kelce and his relationship with Taylor Swift.
CJ Gardner-Johnson posted an Instagram story with a photo of himself and Travis Kelce during the game, captioned, “Should’ve stayed with that thick s***,” which fans believe was a reference to Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole. The post quickly went viral before being deleted.
Soon after, Swifties reportedly took aim at CJ Gardner-Johnson’s mom’s Florida restaurant, King’s Grill, leaving fake one-star reviews on platforms like Google and Yelp. Most of the negative reviews have since been removed, and Eagles fans stepped in with positive ratings to counter the backlash.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift was spotted cheering Kelce on at the Super Bowl, while Kayla Nicole joined the Eagles’ celebrations on the field.
