Cassie is formally requesting that a judge quash a subpoena issued by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team, which seeks access to her personal financial records and unpublished writings related to their past relationship.

According to TMZ, the subpoena, served on March 19, 2025, demands Cassie produce
“all draft memoirs, autobiographies, narratives, diaries, journals or notes … and any communications about plans to publish or threaten to publish such a document.”
Additionally, it seeks her bank statements.
Cassie argues that the subpoena is overly broad and premature, and she is asking the court to dismiss it entirely.
This development follows earlier claims by Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, who alleged that Cassie had offered to sell the rights to a book she had written about their relationship for $30 million to prevent its publication.
Agnifilo said Diddy declined the offer. Cassie later filed a civil lawsuit against Diddy for rape and abuse, which was settled the following day.
