Rapper Baby Tate Reveals She Owes Warner Music Group $1.5 Million After Posting GoFundMe For Boyfriend’s Stolen Car
Baby Tate is responding to critics after asking followers to support her boyfriend’s GoFundMe campaign for a stolen car.
The rapper posted the campaign on Instagram, with a $10,000 goal, but her request didn’t sit well with some fans, who questioned why she would need help when she’s signed to Warner Music Group. In response, Baby Tate revealed,
“Lol like I literally owe Warner 1.5 million dollars but God forbid I try and help my boyfriend replace his car through community donations instead of just buying him a brand new one off the lot!”
She later disabled the comments on her post and clarified in her Instagram Story, writing, “All I actually asked is for y’all to share… it’s sad that all of some of you wanted to share was negativity!” Baby Tate also reminded followers, “The entire world is experiencing a recession,” and encouraged people to support each other as a community.

Baby Tate signed with Warner Music Group in 2021, and her latest project, “Baby Tate Presents – Sexploration: The Musical”, was released in 2023.
What do y’all think? Was Tate wrong to ask for support, or should we be more understanding of her situation?
