Shannon Sharpe Accused Of Str@ngling Female Fox Employee In Quietly Settled Incident, His Attorneys Deny The Claims
Shannon Sharpe, the Hall of Fame tight end and media personality, is facing allegations of r*pe and other claims. Now, past accusations are coming to light.
A report by Ryan Glasspiegel of FrontOfficeSports.com suggests Shannon Sharpe was previously accused of chok*ng a female production assistant while working at FS1. Glasspiegel cites two anonymous sources, with one stating that Fox settled with the accuser for several hundred thousand dollars, though no lawsuit was filed.
Shannon Sharpe’s representative denied the incident, saying, “There was no incident of chok*ng involving Shannon on the FS1 set. On one occasion, he and a few colleagues were involved in some light physical interaction in a playful context.” The statement added that Fox resolved the matter privately.
A Fox representative declined to comment before Sharpe’s statement was issued. Earlier today, Sharpe announced he would step away from his ESPN appearances until NFL preseason, leaving uncertainty about his return.
He is being accused of s*xually ass*ulting and chok*ng a former lover in a newly filed suit, though Sharpe denies these claims.
