24 People Banned After Violent Brawl Erupts At Carnival Cruise Terminal In Texas
A violent brawl erupted inside the Galveston, Texas cruise terminal on April 26, shortly after passengers disembarked the Carnival Jubilee from a 7-day Western Caribbean trip.
Carnival confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE that 24 individuals were placed on the “Do Not Sail” list, stating, “We will not tolerate such behavior.”
The chaos unfolded “in the debarkation area under the authority of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol,” and was “turned over to law enforcement.”
Facebook user Trelle Ray captured footage of the melee, showing people “chasing another passenger,” breaking barriers, and tackling someone to the ground amid suitcases.
Security attempted to intervene as stunned travelers looked on. “It went down this morning!!” Ray captioned. The Jubilee had returned from stops in Mexico and Honduras.

This isn’t Carnival’s first incident—back in June 2022, a fight involving 40-60 passengers broke out on the Carnival Magic, prompting a Coast Guard escort to Pier 88 in New York.
