Stephen A. Smith To Make His ‘Law & Order’ Debut As M*rder Victim: ‘That’s Part Of The Bucket List’
Stephen A. Smith is living a dream: he’s guest-starring on “Law & Order,” as a m*rder victim.
“That’s part of the bucket list, being on ‘Law & Order,’ but not being the corpse,” he joked.
The May 8 episode features Stephen A. Smith as a “tough-love sports agent” found stabbed to death. “She said, ‘Would you be interested in doing this?’ I said, ‘’Law & Order?’ The ‘Law & Order?’ Of course!’” Stephen A. Smith recalled. Still, he hopes to return someday as a lawyer: “My goal is to ultimately be a lawyer in the courtroom.”
Smith is no stranger to acting. He’s also appeared on “General Hospital,” playing recurring character Brick. Now, with “Law & Order,” he’s continuing to bring his “A game” to scripted TV.
“Being on a show as epic as ‘Law & Order,’ you try to bring your A game. So that’s what I tried to do, because I’ve been a huge fan of the show for many decades.”
