Former NBA Star Paul Pierce Walks 20 Miles To Work Barefoot In A Robe After Losing Bet On Celtics vs. Knicks Game
Paul Pierce is taking his NBA playoff bet very seriously.
The Boston Celtics legend made a bold promise during Wednesday’s episode of Speak on F1, confidently claiming that his former team would beat the New York Knicks in Game 2 of their playoff series. So confident, in fact, that he vowed to walk several miles to work, barefoot and in a robe, if they lost. ?
Early on, it looked like Pierce was in the clear. The Celtics held a 20-point lead over the Knicks. But in a dramatic twist, New York pulled off a shocking comeback, stealing the game by just 1 point and going up 2-0 in the series.

True to his word, Pierce hit the pavement. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) after the game, he revealed the 20-mile walk would take around 8 hours to finish. He’s since been posting regular updates to his IG Stories, including a check-in around hour 3 and a friendly fan encounter along the way.
The Celtics are set to face off against the Knicks again on May 10, hoping to bounce back with a win in New York. Let’s just hope Paul holds off on any more bold wagers this time around.
Stay hydrated out there, Paul!
