Paul Pierce Drops The ‘N-Word’ During Live TV Broadcast
NBA legend Paul Pierce may have found himself in trouble with another television network.
During a recent episode of Undisputed, the former Boston Celtic seemingly forgot that he was being filmed on live TV. On the sports broadcast, Paul Pierce, 46, casually dropped the “n-word” while speaking to his co-host Keyshawn Johnson yesterday (May 13). The Hall of Famer’s vulgar language happened as he shared his excitement during a conversation about New York Knicks shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo.

Paul Pierce said to Keyshawn Johnson,
“Look at this n*gg*, Key.”

Following Pierce’s comment on the live broadcast, co-host Skip Bayless seemed disappointed in his colleague’s choice of words, while Johnson appeared to be unbothered by the remark.

Pierce’s recent slip up wouldn’t be the first time his actions have put his career at risk. You may recall, Pierce was ultimately let go from ESPN’s NBA Countdown and The Jump as a regular contributor back in 2021. The firing took place after the professional basketball player posted himself online getting a massage by strippers and smoking marijuana.

Pierce responded to the news of his termination with a video of himself appearing in good spirits. He previously wrote via X (formerly Twitter),
“Big Things coming soon stay tuned make sure u smile #Truthshallsetufree”
