Spike Lee is letting the numbers speak for themselves.
The director hopped on Instagram to share a screenshot of the film’s 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes. A score of 60% or higher earns a “Fresh” rating on the platform, so this puts the film firmly in the green.
The crime thriller, which stars Denzel Washington, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jeffrey Wright, ASAP Rocky, and Ice Spice, is a reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 classic High and Low and drops August 22.
