Trump Orders Investigation Into Biden’s Use Of Autopen In The White House, Calls It ‘Radical’ Cover-Up To Hide Alleged Cognitive Decline
Donald Trump has ordered an official investigation into Joe Biden’s use of an autopen while in office, claiming it’s part of a White House cover-up to mask Biden’s declining mental state.
“This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history,” Trump wrote, accusing Biden’s aides of unlawfully executing major policy shifts.
Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondi and White House Counsel David Warrington to lead the probe.
For those who don’t know, autopens use pens or other writing instruments to place a person’s signature on documents, books or other papers, such as in the case of a college president, for example, who would otherwise be required to sign hundreds or thousands of diplomas for graduating students by hand.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer also demanded interviews with five former senior Biden aides, calling the matter “one of the greatest scandals in our nation’s history.”
Democrats have dismissed Trump’s probe as a mere distraction.
