Elon Musk Claims Trump Would’ve Lost 2024 Election Without His Help, Slams GOP For Being Ungrateful
Elon Musk says he’s the reason Donald Trump won the election.
In a recent X post, Musk wrote,
“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.”
He also accused Republicans of being ungrateful, implying he’s the key reason behind their recent victories.
The posts came after Musk slammed a newly passed tax and spending bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination.”
Donald Trump fired back, claiming he would have won Pennsylvania “with or without Elon,” and accused Musk of having “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” He also suggested Musk knew what was in the bill and chose not to speak out.

Musk denied that, replying,
“False, this bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it.”
He added that his issue with the bill isn’t personal and said he’s fine with losing solar and EV subsidies (which will likely affect Tesla) if it means the bill is “slim and beautiful.”
