Florida Man Convicted Of Wire Fraud After Posing As Flight Attendant To Book 120+ Free Flights
Tiron Alexander, 35, has been convicted of wire fraud after federal prosecutors say he booked more than 120 flights for free by posing as a flight attendant.
Between 2018 and 2024, Alexander used an airline’s internal booking system, which is intended for pilots and crew, to board at least 34 flights without paying.
Prosecutors say he used fake badge numbers, bogus hire dates, and listed at least seven different employers. Investigators also found he used about 30 different combinations of employee credentials with at least three other carriers.
Alexander is scheduled to be sentenced on August 25 by U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Becerra.
