Mike Tyson Says Diddy Called Him From Prison To Deliver A Letter To Donald Trump: ‘I Did What He Told Me To Do

Mike Tyson says he followed through when Sean “Diddy” Combs asked him to deliver a letter to Donald Trump, adding another detail to the mogul’s push for a pardon.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Andy Cohen asked Tyson whether he and Combs were “buddies” and whether he was “surprised by what happened with him.”

“Yeah, I’m friendly with Puff,” he said. “I was surprised that they went through so many lengths to get him. They used a 110-year-old rule to get him. That case 110 years ago, but they used it to get him. Can you imagine that? They took a 110-year-old case to get him a couple of months, a couple of years ago.”

Tyson confirmed that they had spoken during Combs’ incarceration.

“Well, I spoke with him once on the phone, yes,” Tyson said. “He wanted me to give a letter to the president.”

Cohen asked, “And did you give a letter to the president from him?”

“I did what he told me to do, yes.”

Tyson’s reference to a “110-year-old rule” concerned the Mann Act of 1910, the law underlying Combs’ pr*stitution-related convictions.

Trump previously told The New York Times that Combs requested a pardon through a handwritten letter. He also told Newsmax that granting one could be “difficult,” citing Combs’ criticism during his 2016 campaign.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence, with a reported release date of March 8, 2028. Tyson did not disclose the letter’s contents or say whether Trump responded to his involvement.
