Shawty Lo Gets Dropped from “Love & Hip-Hop: ATL”

One of the speculated cast members of “Love& Hip-Hop: Atlanta” has been removed from the show. Shawty Lo (real name Carlos Walker) was supposed to be on the reality show, along with his girlfriend, Ecreia, and his 10 kids (wow!). However, due to his criminal past, VH1 didn’t want him featured on the network. Lo told AllHipHop.com:
“I was supposed to be on the reality show, because of my record VH1 won’t let me be on there. I got 28 arrests, I been convicted 4 times.”
While other rappers with criminal records (like 50 Cent and T.I.) have had shows on VH1, Shawty Lo’s record is more severe. He explained,
“The difference with me and the other rappers is I got a lot of violence on my record. People got shot, I didn’t just get caught with drugs, I was really doing crazy stuff in the streets. It’s a blessing. Thanks to the number #1 judge upstairs.”
From what we know, the cast of “Love& Hip-Hop: Atlanta” has not been finalized yet, but rumors of who will be on the show continue to circulate. Peep the video of Lo talking about his arrests:
