Jessie J Shares ‘Hope’ That She’s Breast Cancer-Free After Undergoing Surgery
Jessie J is staying optimistic after undergoing breast cancer surgery this week.
The 37-year-old singer gave fans an update following a procedure she hopes has fully removed the cancer, sharing a few pros and cons of her recovery journey. On the bright side, Jessie says she’s enjoying quality time with family and friends, and guilt-free Love Island marathons. On the downside, she admits it’s been tough accepting that she can’t move around as much or be as physically present for her young son, Sky.

After some fans misunderstood part of her update and believed she had confirmed the cancer was fully removed. In a follow-up post, Jessie clarifies that, for now, it’s still just a hopeful outlook.
“I only had surgery 4 days ago… But I will get my results soon. And hopefully I can post that as a fact. But for now I don’t know. But I will stay positive.”
Jessie revealed her early breast cancer diagnosis earlier this month. Just days ago, she shared behind-the-scenes footage from before and after the surgery, including an emotional video where she opened up about missing her son and the pain she was experiencing.
We’re wishing Jessie J a smooth recovery and are hopeful for cancer-free results!
