YouTuber Armon Wiggins Speaks Out Amid Baby Oil Backlash Following Diddy Verdict: ‘Manifestation Doesn’t Always Look Pretty’
Armon Wiggins is reflecting on the controversy.
The YouTuber, who covered the federal trial against Diddy, recently posted a message on X addressing the viral baby oil moment that sparked backlash earlier this month. “People thought the baby oil moment was my downfall… but God used it as the spotlight,” he wrote. “Manifestation doesn’t always look pretty sometimes it looks like controversy before it looks like purpose.”
Armon previously went viral after pouring baby oil on himself outside the courthouse following Diddy being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering. The clip was widely criticized, with some interpreting it as a show of support for the disgraced mogul.
He later issued a public apology:
“A clip of me outside the courthouse went viral and was taken out of context. What started as a lighthearted moment, part of a long-running joke with my audience, was misinterpreted as support for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. That was never my intention.”
