Deion Sanders’ Son Shilo Pays KFC Employee To Go Home Early After Learning She Has The Same Name As His Grandmother
Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie Shilo Sanders stepped into a local KFC as part of a community outreach, giving away 250 free meals.
During the event, he met an employee named Connie Knight, just like his grandmother, and impulsively insisted she go home early, paying her full day’s wage. Sanders shared he was following his dad Deion’s principle: when his own mother stopped working, he wanted to pass that blessing on to someone else.
The touching gesture honored family tradition and showcased Shilo’s generous spirit off the field.
