Former NBA Star Gilbert Arenas Arrested, Accused Of Running Illegal Gambling Business From His Los Angeles Home
Gilbert Arenas is behind bars.
The former NBA player was arrested earlier today (July 30), along with five other men, for allegedly running an illegal gambling business from his mansion in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. According to authorities, Gilbert had one of his accomplices stage the property, find others to host the illegal high-stakes poker games, and collect rent on his behalf.

Gilbert has been charged with one count of conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business, one count of operating an illegal gambling business and one count of making false statements to investigators. Arenas and the other men, who are all facing similar charges, will appear and be arraigned at the United States District Court in downtown Los Angeles sometime today.
