Music Exec Carl Crawford Says Erica Banks ‘Wanted To Be Megan Thee Stallion So Much’
Carl Crawford is speaking out about his former artists Megan Thee Stallion and Erica Banks… and claims the similarities between them weren’t a coincidence.
In a recent sit-down with Reallyfe Street Starz, the 1501 Certified Entertainment head was asked about Erica’s career today. He noted that she’s more recognized for her reality TV appearances than her music.

Crawford then pivoted to draw a direct comparison between Erica and Megan, saying, “She wanted to be Megan so much. She wanted to do everything that Megan did… even fighting with me.”
Mega Thee Stallion and Erica Banks were both signed to Crawford’s label, but eventually parted ways after raising concerns about their contracts.
