Chantel Christie Calls Mom Jackie Christie Her ‘First Bully,’ Says She’s Owning Her Part In Their Fight Even If Jackie Won’t: ‘We Both Look Like Fools’

Chantel Christie is opening up about her explosive altercation with her mother, Jackie Christie.

During a newly aired conversation with Carlos King, Chantel acknowledged that she’s taking accountability for her actions, saying: “I’ve been through a lot of things in my life, and that doesn’t excuse my behavior.”

She admitted she should’ve walked away before the situation escalated, especially knowing Jackie wasn’t likely to take accountability. However, she said the moment felt impossible to defuse, describing Jackie as her “first bully,” which made it hard to back down during the heated exchange.

The confrontation between the mother-daughter duo was captured during the latest season of Basketball Wives, starting with an attempted reconciliation that quickly spiraled into a physical altercation.

Chantel also criticized Jackie for treating her “like a stranger in the street,” and emphasized that their tension goes beyond childhood trauma; it’s also about how Jackie continues to treat her as an adult.

What are your thoughts on Chantel’s side of the story?
