Source Claims ‘The Howard Stern Show’ Will Most Likely End After Nearly 20 Years On SiriusXM: ‘There’s No Way Sirius Can Keep Paying His Salary’
After almost two decades on SiriusXM, The Howard Stern Show is reportedly coming to an end.
Sources told The U.S. Sun that Stern’s current contract, which expires this fall, likely won’t be renewed because SiriusXM isn’t willing to meet his salary demands.
An insider said, “While Sirius is planning to make him an offer, they don’t intend for him to take it. […] Sirius and Stern are never going to meet on the money he is going to want. It’s no longer worth the investment.”

The source added that fans can expect SiriusXM to secure a deal to keep Stern’s show catalog on the platform, but “there’s no way they can keep paying his salary.”
Stern first rose to fame in the 1980s with his radio show, and since moving to SiriusXM in 2006, he has become known for his in-depth celebrity interviews.
