Troy Ave $hooting Case Closed As Police Determine Incident Was ‘Unsubstantiated’
The $hooting incident involving Troy Ave has officially been closed, according to TMZ.
As theJasmineBRAND previously reported, the rapper’s friend, Chef Geoff Cole, posted surveillance footage of what appeared to be Troy firing $hots at someone who was trying to rob Geoff.
Shortly after, reports swirled that they faked the incident, as a source told TMZ, “no one actually attempted to rob Geoff” and “Troy did not fire any live rounds.”
While Troy denied even being in the video, sources told the outlet that he and Geoff planned the whole thing together.
Now, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ the case has been closed as the incident was ruled “unsubstantiated.” Ultimately, it was seemingly a hoax which is not illegal.
