‘Black Ink Crew’ Alum Ceaser Says He Broke Up w/ Dutchess After Fame ‘Changed’ Her: ‘I Didn’t See The Sweet Country Girl I Used To’
Black Ink Crew’s Ceaser recently opened up about what led to the end of his relationship with former co-star and girlfriend Dutchess.
Speaking with Carlos King, the reality star admitted he felt that fame began to negatively impact their romance, saying: “Dutchess changed. I didn’t see the sweet country girl I used to see.”
Ceaser, who got engaged to Dutchess in 2015 before their split the following year, continued: “Fame is a dangerous drug, and when that sh*t hits you, it hits people in different ways. I was just seeing the nasty side of her.”

He went on to describe ways Dutchess allegedly changed, noting her struggles with on-and-off depressive episodes. Ceaser also admitted that the relationship didn’t leave much room for compromise, especially as the success of their TV show led to multiple spin-offs and new tattoo shops in different locations. By the end, he said, the situation had simply become “toxic.”
