Teyana Taylor Says $70K Divorce Court Fine Was ‘The Best Lil Coin I Ever Spent’ + Alleges Witness Exposed Iman Shumpert’s Smear Campaign
Teyana Taylor is opening up about violating a court order in her divorce from Iman Shumpert, an action that resulted in a $70K fine.
While visiting The Breakfast Club, Teyana was asked why details from her ongoing separation with Iman always seem to hit the blogs whenever something positive is happening in her life or career.
She said it’s no coincidence, explaining that she went on Instagram Live to address sealed details of the divorce, which led to the court violation and fine, because she was tired of staying quiet while false information was being spread about her.

Teyana called the fine “the best lil coin I ever spent,” and claimed that a witness came forward with receipts supporting allegations that Iman and his team were allegedly orchestrating a “smear campaign” against her.
The former couple married in 2016 and share two children. They announced their split in late 2023.
