Tyler Perry’s S3xual A$$ault Accuser, Actor Derek Dixon, Speaks Out About Alleged Harassment From Media Mogul

#DerekDixon is ready to share his truth.

The actor, who appeared on #TylerPerry’s TV series The Oval, has publicly detailed his s3xual a$$ault and harassment allegations against Perry in an interview with ABC News.

Dixon recounts an incident in January 2020, when he claims Perry invited him to his Atlanta home. After consuming alcohol, Dixon says he fell asleep in a guest room, only to wake up to Perry climbing into bed with him and allegedly rubbing his leg. Dixon asserts he rejected Perry’s advances and left the situation feeling his bodily autonomy was violated.

As reported, Dixon filed a lawsuit against Perry and #TylerPerryStudios in June, accusing them of quid pro quo and workplace s3xual harassment, as well as s3xual a$$ault and battery. He is seeking $260 million in damages. Perry’s representatives have dismissed the lawsuit as a “scam.”

The full interview with Dixon will air tonight (Sept. 9) on ABC News Live PRIME.
