50 Cent Reportedly Drops $50 Million On 20 Properties In Louisiana For Film & Entertainment Hub
#50Cent might joke around online, but he’s never played about his business.
The rapper-turned-media-mogul has invested approximately $50 million and acquired around 20 properties in downtown #Shreveport, #Louisiana, as part of his new “50 Cent Economic District” initiative intended to transform the city into a film and entertainment hub. Key purchases reportedly include a $1.02 million multi-lot property, a $150,000 building, and a vacant parcel for $76,872. He’s now reportedly the city’s largest private property owner.
“In the short period of time, I’ve come to like the people of Shreveport differently,’ 50 said about his latest business project. “It feels like home for me, and eventually it’ll be home because I have some work to do.”
