Kandi Burruss Celebrates Thanksgiving – Addresses Why Todd Tucker Isn’t in the Photo
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, reality-star and musician Kandi Burruss shared a warm family photo on Instagram to mark the occasion. She captioned the post, “Happy Thanksgiving! I truly enjoyed my day with my fam. I hope you enjoyed yours! Now I feel stuffed like a turkey & need to lay down.” The image — which shows a large group gathered around what appears to be a dining-room staircase — reflects a cozy, multi-generational family gathering.
As fans and followers began speculating about why Todd Tucker, her husband of 11 years, was absent from the picture, Burruss took to the comments to clarify the situation. She wrote:
“Before anyone assumes anything Todd came earlier to eat with us but he wasn’t there for the pic. He was not left out or anything like that.”
Her statement aims to quash any rumors that Tucker was intentionally excluded from the family gathering. According to Kandi, he simply attended earlier and departed before the photo was taken — no drama, no snub.
Given recent public attention around Burruss and Tucker’s marriage, the post and her clarification are likely to be scrutinized. As of late November 2025, Burruss and Tucker have announced their decision to divorce after more than a decade together.
Nonetheless, this Thanksgiving snapshot — and Kandi’s explanation — suggests they chose to spend part of the holiday together with family, at least for dinner, even if they didn’t all appear in the photo.
