Released After Spending 2 Months In Jail Over Warrant For Skipping Child Support Hearing
#DariusMcCrary has made it home in time for #Christmas.
The former “#FamilyMatters” actor was released from jail on Dec. 8, two months after being arrested at the U.S.–Mexico border on an outstanding warrant. The warrant, issued in Michigan, stemmed from his failure to appear in court on unpaid child support charges.
At his hearing, McCrary entered a no-contest plea to five felony charges. His public defender pushed back against accusations of evading responsibility, telling TMZ that the resolution “makes it clear that family does matter and that it always has.” McCrary is set to be sentenced in February 2026.
