Boxer Anthony Joshua Knocks Out Jake Paul In Brutal Sixth-Round Finish

Boxer Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul finally shared the ring in Miami, and after several tense rounds, the outcome matched the odds.

Joshua knocked out Paul in the sixth round of their highly anticipated bout at Kaseya Center, ending the crossover spectacle with a definitive finish. The opening four rounds featured cautious movement and limited offense, but momentum shifted in the fifth when Joshua dropped Paul twice. Early in the sixth, Joshua scored another knockdown before delivering the final blow.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani during a Netflix in-ring interview, Joshua credited Paul’s toughness while admitting the performance wasn’t perfect.

“Jake Paul did really well and he deserves his props,” Joshua said. “It takes a real man to do that and he deserves respect for trying and trying and trying. But he came up against a real fighter tonight.”

Paul, who said his jaw is “definitely broken,” stayed positive afterward.

“I’m feeling good. That was fun. I love this sport and I had a blast,” he said, adding, “Anthony is a great fighter. I got my a** beat but that’s what this sport is all about.”

The win moves Joshua to 29-4, while Paul falls to 12-2.
