Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Seemingly Reflects On Divorce Drama & Deportation As He Calls 2024 & 2025 The Most Challenging Years’ Of His Life

Simon Guobadia is hoping for a peaceful 2026.

The Nigerian businessman and ex-husband of #RHOA star #PorshaWilliams recently shared a candid post reflecting on the past two years and the challenges he faced. “2024 and 2025 were without question the most challenging years of my life. I weathered multiple storms—any one of which could have easily been the end of me. They were unexpected, painful, and traumatic, all at the same time,” Simon wrote.

While he didn’t go into specifics on the challenges faced, some of Simon’s hurdles played out publicly. Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024, and after much back-and-forth, their separation was finalized a little over a year later in June 2025. On top of that, Simon was detained by #ICE last February and was eventually sent back to his home country.

Continuing his post while celebrating the New Year in #Dubai, Simon shared, “My life has taught me this: with every storm comes lessons, wisdom, and ultimately, rebirth. As painful as those moments were, deep down I always knew I was being prepared for something greater.”
