Singer Cher Says She Asked The Universe For A ‘Man & A Toddler’ Before Boyfriend Alexander Edwards Walked Into Her Life

Cher didn’t just stumble into love — she says she literally spoke it into existence.

During a recent appearance on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, the 79-year-old icon revealed that she manifested her relationship with Alexander “AE” Edwards long before they met — including his young son.

“Before I met him, I walked around my house saying, ‘I want a man and a toddler,’” Cher shared.

Shepard replied, “You declared it to the universe,” to which Cher added, “I wasn’t expecting them maybe together but that’s what I wanted.”

Edwards, 39, shares his 6-year-old son Slash with ex Amber Rose. Cher went on to praise her partner, calling him a “wonderful person” who is “really funny,” adding, “Alexander is that way too,” when Shepard spoke about supporting his wife’s success.

Addressing their 40-year age gap, Cher previously told Gayle King, “They’re not living my life… we just have a blast,” and added, “He just says, ‘You know, you get older, but your spirit is younger.’”

Cher and Edwards have been publicly linked since November 2022.
