Todd Tucker Fights Against Kandi Burruss’ Effort To Seal Divorce Records, Says She’s Talking About Split Online & w/ ‘Various Media Outlets’

Looks like #ToddTucker doesn’t want his divorce from #KandiBurruss to be kept private.

After filing to end her marriage in November, Kandi asked the court to seal their divorce records, arguing that public access to the case could negatively affect their two young children. Todd formally responded earlier this month, and the couple appears to be on very different pages. Court documents obtained by US Weekly show that Todd is fighting #Kandi’s request for a confidentiality order.

According to the filing, Kandi has discussed their breakup “with various media outlets” and “online,” while Todd has remained largely silent. His motion states, “Having voluntarily placed the proceedings into the public domain, [Burruss] cannot now credibly claim that sealing the case is necessary to protect the integrity of the proceedings or the best interests of the minor children.” Todd’s attorney added, “Rather, the requested relief appears aimed at selectively restricting public access in order to control the narrative of a dispute that [Burruss] herself has chosen to make public.”

A judge has not yet ruled on the matter.
