“RHOA” Star Kelli Ferrell’s Ex-Husband Released From Jail After Being Arrested Before Christmas For Nearly $62K In Unpaid Child Support

#KelliFerrell’s ex-husband, Mark Ferrell, didn’t make it home for the holidays.

The businessman was released from the Rockdale County Jail in #Georgia on Jan. 8 after satisfying his outstanding child support obligation. Mark’s representative told Us Weekly that he paid $61,992 in full using “the proceeds of the sale of his former marital residence.” As previously reported, Mark was taken into custody just three days before Christmas after reportedly falling significantly behind on payments owed to Kelli.

The former couple, who were married from 2011 to 2022, share three children. Kelli is also a mother to a 17-year-old from a previous relationship. While Mark has cleared his arrears, he is still required to continue making his ongoing monthly child support payments of $3,991. His representative stated that Mark “maintains that his intent was never to avoid supporting his children, but rather to resolve the obligation completely and permanently once the funds were released.”

They added that “Mr. Ferrell and his legal team state that this matter could have been resolved far earlier had he been granted timely access to the escrowed home sale proceeds.”
