#KaramoBrown has definitely stolen the spotlight from his fellow Fab Five members after skipping several stops on the Queer Eye Season 10 press tour. As recently reported, Karamo said he opted out of the appearances to protect his mental health and avoid what he described as bullying. His co-stars, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, and Jeremiah Brent, later said they were surprised by his decision.

Since then, the internet has been speculating about what exactly caused the apparent rift, and it now seems the picture is becoming clearer. According to an insider who spoke with TMZ, things took a turn during filming in Washington, D.C., last summer when Karamo brought his mother to the set. The source claims she was wearing production headphones and watching the action when Karamo stepped away.

During that time, she allegedly overheard Antoni, Tan, and Jonathan making negative comments about Karamo, including remarks about his life choices. She later relayed everything to her son, and things reportedly haven’t been the same since. The outlet added, however, that Karamo and Jeremiah remain on good terms. Notably, he’s also the only #QueerEye co-host Karamo still follows on Instagram.
