Colman Domingo Reveals It Took Nearly 3 Hours To Transform Into Joe Jackson For “Michael” Biopic

#ColmanDomingo is dedicated to his craft.

In a post on his Instagram Story, he revealed that it took 2.5 hours in the makeup chair to fully transform into #JoeJackson, the father of pop icon Michael Jackson. Domingo stars as Joe in the highly anticipated Michael biopic, which is set to hit theaters on April 24.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Nia Long as Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries) as Diana Ross, and Larenz Tate as Berry Gordy. Michael Jackson himself is portrayed by his nephew #JaafarJackson, marking his feature film acting debut.
