Former First Lady Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Arrested & Charged w/ M*rdering His Wife

Former first lady Jill Biden’s ex-husband, William “Bill” Stevenson, has been arrested and charged with first-degree m*rder in the de@th of his wife, Linda Stevenson, authorities said. Police in New Castle County, Delaware, took the 77-year-old into custody after a weeks-long investigation into the circumstances surrounding Linda, 64, who was found unresponsive on the living room floor of the couple’s Wilmington home.

Officers first responded to a reported dome$tic dispute on Dec. 28, 2025, and despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced de@d at the scene. Stevenson was arrested and is currently being held at Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to post a $500,000 bond. Stevenson was married to Jill from 1970 until their divorce in 1975. The cause and manner of Linda’s death have not been publicly released, and authorities have not yet offered a motive.
