Da Brat Slams Shyne For Claiming Brandy Has A History Of Lying After She Denied Dating Him In The ’90s: Whatever Happened Back In The Day Who Gives A D*mn!’
#DaBrat is standing ten toes down behind her good friend Brandy.
ICYMI: Brandy has recently been making headlines over her alleged dating history. The drama began after former Bad Boy rappers #Shyne and Mase compared timelines of when they each allegedly discovered they were dating Brandy at the same time. While their initial remarks weren’t overtly negative, the claims prompted Brandy’s brother, Ray J, to jump online in her defense. Brandy later released a statement condemning Ray’s methods and denying she ever had a relationship with Shyne.
However, Shyne stood by his comments in an interview with Angela Yee, saying Brandy has “proven she would say whatever in order to protect whatever she thinks should be her public persona…I have no need to lie.” Now, Da Brat is stepping up for #Brandy. Questioning Shyne’s motives, she asked, “As a man,” why is he so pressed. “Whatever happened back in the day, who gives a d*mn! We don’t.” She added that Shyne’s continued comments are making him look “crazy,” before urging, “just leave Brandy alone…let Brandy live her life!”
