62-Year-Old Florida Pastor Who Wrote Book On Loving Your Spouse Arrested Over Allegations He Has Multiple Wives

Another day, another crazy story out of Florida.

#Florida pastor Leslie Williams, 62, was arrested in the rumored swingers neighborhood, the Villages retirement community, on an outstanding warrant tied to bigamy charges out of #Georgia. For those unaware, bigamy is the criminal act of marrying someone while already legally married to someone else. Authorities say the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office issued the warrant for Williams’ arrest earlier this month, and he is currently being held without bond in Sumter County as he awaits extradition.

Williams, who leads his own ministry, had built a reputation around promoting strong, faith-based marriages. His 2017 book, Love Her Like This: Loving Her Has Never Been Deeper, focuses on helping men strengthen their relationships and maintain a “never-failing” marriage. The description notes it “speaks directly to the hearts of men” and addresses issues that could “destroy the sacred relationship between a husband and wife.”

Despite that messaging, questions about his personal life surfaced after he shared a December Facebook post announcing a new marriage. The post drew confusion from followers, with one person writing, “Wow I thought you were already married. Congratulations!!” Authorities have not released full details about the alleged marriages as the case remains under investigation.
