Michael Jackson’s Nephew Jaafar Jackson Never Visited His Pet Monkey Bubbles-Sanctuary Says Viral Photos Are Fake

False rumors surrounding Michael Jackson’s famous chimpanzee Bubbles are being addressed directly by the animal’s sanctuary, as viral images continue to circulate online.

The Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida, issued a statement clarifying that widely shared photos allegedly showing his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, visiting Bubbles are not authentic.

According to the sanctuary, the images are AI creations, emphasizing that Jaafar has never visited, though they noted the invitation remains open.

The sanctuary also made clear there is no physical interactions allowed, as all chimpanzees and orangutans are kept within secure, protected habitats.

While the organization acknowledged renewed attention tied to the upcoming biopic “Michael,” it stressed its mission remains focused on “respect, care and lifelong and protection” — not entertainment.
