“Rush Hour 4” Director Reportedly Joining Trump On China Trip To Scout Filming Locations
President #Trump is reportedly going the extra mile to help Rush Hour 4 finally see the light of day.
According to reports, the film’s director, Brett Ratner, is tagging along with Trump and a couple of his associates—Elon Musk and Tim Cook—on a trip to China tied to business matters. While Trump, Musk, and Cook are said to be heading overseas for a summit with Xi Jinping, Ratner has reportedly been invited to take advantage of the visit by scouting potential filming locations for the action-comedy movie.
Ratner isn’t exactly new to Trump’s circle. He directed a documentary centered on #MelaniaTrump that was released earlier this year, and the two are said to share an appreciation for the Rush Hour franchise. With Ratner having helmed the first three films, and Trump allegedly being a big fan of the franchise. #RushHour 4 has been in development for years, but momentum appears to be picking up again now that Trump has seemingly taken an interest in helping the project reach the finish line.
