Dame Dash Seemingly Responds To JAY-Z’s Alleged Freestyle Diss With Goofy Meme
Dame Dash has social media talking after sharing what many fans believe is a response to JAY-Z’s viral freestyle performance at Roots Picnic.
Following online speculation that JAY-Z’s new bars contained subtle references to several longtime critics and former associates, including Dame Dash, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder posted an edited image that appeared to depict JAY-Z as Disney character Goofy. Dash captioned the post with a laughing emoji and tagged JAY-Z.
The post quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom interpreted it as Dash’s reaction to the growing conversation surrounding JAY-Z’s freestyle.
Neither Dash nor JAY-Z directly addressed one another in the posts. And while social media users have spent the last day debating whether JAY-Z’s lyrics were aimed at specific individuals, no names were mentioned during the performance.
Still, Dash’s decision to share the image and tag the rap mogul has only added fuel to the ongoing discussion, with fans continuing to dissect both the freestyle and Dash’s response online.
Do you think Dame Dash was responding to JAY-Z, or was he simply joking around?
