Fat Joe Says The Roots Exclude Him From Hip-Hop Celebrations They Help Organize: ‘I Don’t Know Why They Don’t Pick Me’
Fat Joe is questioning why The Roots allegedly leave him out of major hip-hop celebrations they help organize. Speaking on “Joe & Jada,” the Bronx rapper said he respects the legendary band but feels overlooked despite decades of hits and cultural influence.
“I don’t know why they don’t pick me,” he said, adding that his catalog and history in rap should earn him a seat at those tribute moments too.
Should Joe be a bigger part of the conversation?
