#CardiB’s “WAP,” featuring #MeganTheeStallion, has officially been certified Diamond by the #RIAA, marking more than 10 million units sold and streamed in the U.S. The honor makes Cardi B the female rapper with the most Diamond-certified songs in RIAA history — now four total — while giving Megan her first-ever Diamond single. Reacting to the news, Cardi said, “Awww y’all ?? WAP just went diamond… me and [Megan] really did that!! Love y’all so much… thank you for streaming and making history with us ? #WAP.”

Released in August 2020, “WAP” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as the first female rap collaboration to top the chart, and it set the record at the time for the biggest opening streaming week for a song in the U.S. It also became the first-ever chart-topper on Billboard’s Global 200 and spent three weeks at No. 1 worldwide.
