Diddy’s Lawyers Seek To Withdraw From Civil Case, Claim They Haven’t Been Paid – Diddy Says He Was Overcharged & He Won’t Let Anyone Take Advantage Of Him

#Diddy’s legal team in one of his civil cases is looking to bow out, but the music mogul says there’s more to the story.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, three attorneys from Sher Tremonte LLP — Michael Tremonte, Erica Wolff and Katie Renzler — filed a motion asking to withdraw as counsel for Diddy in his federal case against #NexstarMedia, Ariel Mitchell and Courtney Burgess, claiming the incarcerated mogul has failed to pay a “substantial balance of attorney’s fees” and other costs.

The attorneys also accuse Diddy of being “unreasonably difficult” and say communication with their client has broken down. Their motion claims Diddy is in “substantial arrears” and that his last payment came more than six months ago. But Diddy, speaking through his spokesperson, tells the outlet he sees things differently, saying, “I made the decision to switch lawyers because I won’t let anyone take advantage of me by overcharging me and running up bills that were never approved. This is strictly a business matter, and any talk about unpaid fees is just part of our dispute over those unapproved charges.

Diddy is currently serving a little over four years at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, in #NewJersey after being convicted at his federal trial on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for pro$titution.
