Jay-Z’s Former Accuser Fully Recants S3xual A$$ault Allegations, Says She Never Met Rapper & Claims Lawyers Filed Case Without ‘Due Diligence’

The woman who previously accused Jay-Z of s3xually a$$aulting her when she was 13 has fully recanted her allegations, saying she has never met or spoken to the rapper.

In a new court declaration, Jane Doe stated, “Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter never r@ped me. I have never met or spoken to Mr. Carter.” She added, “There is no truth to any of my claims against Mr. Carter.” Doe also said she was not paid by Jay-Z or anyone acting on his behalf to make the declaration.

Doe, who dropped her original lawsuit against Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2025, also questioned how her case was handled. She claimed her attorneys filed the lawsuit without conducting an independent investigation or “due diligence” and said she never received threats from Jay-Z or anyone acting on his behalf.

Attorney Tony Buzbee pushed back, saying multiple lawyers spoke with Doe before she met him and that she gave each of them the same account. Jay-Z is continuing his legal action against Buzbee and his firm.
