Toni Braxton, Holly Robinson Peete & Suzanne Malveaux Inducted Into Alpha Kappa Alpha

Congrats are in order for Alpha Kappa Alpha’s newest celebrity inductees: singer Toni Braxton (philanthropic work includes Autism Speaks and the American Heart Association), actress Holly Robinson Peete (does charity work for autism, Parkinson’s Disease and co-founded the HollyRod Foundation, with her husband) and CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux (has an extensive background in politics and news, was the executive director of the Merck ChildhoodAsthma Network, etc.). News about their potential membership began circulating earlier this week and was confirmed at the sorority’s 65th Annual Boule held in San Francisco, CA. Both Suzanne and Toni also confirmed the news on twitter:

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-trained women. Congratulations, Sorors!
